On Saturday, we celebrated Shelby's first birthday with a "Ladybug" theme party and lots of family and friends! She had so much fun and LOVED her cake! She got so many gifts we are really going to need an addition on our house. Her real birthday was on Tuesday so Grandma and Grandpa Ramsay came over for dinner and she got to have another cake! It was difficult for Abby to understand that it was Shelby's birthday and not hers, but in the end she did very good in letting Shelby have her day! I can't believe a year has gone by. Shelby is walking...make that running EVERYWHERE! She is becoming more and more independant! She is such a Happy little girl and brings us so much joy everyday!

Rolling in 2010
Here I thought our life would slow down after the holidays...WRONG!!!! Can't believe the 1st month of this new year is almost over and even harder to believe Shelby will turn 1 next week! We are getting ready to celebrate her 1st Birthday this weekend with a "Ladybug" Party. She has changed so much just in the past couple weeks. She is walking everywhere, and even trying to run to keep up with Abby. She can show us with her finger she will be 1 and is really trying to say words like drink, diaper, Abby. She is such a good little girl and we can't imagine our life without her! We thank God daily for bringing us to our little angels of joy!

Christmas is in the Aire!
Wow, it's been a month since I posted. Needless to say we've been staying very busy! The girls are growing and changing every day. We are excited for Christmas to be here! We're headed to Wichita this weekend for AZ's family Christmas and will then stay in Hays for Christmas this year. We plan to celebrate with my family after Christmas (draw it out a little longer!) We tried the visit to Santa this year, but failed. Shelby made it on his lap, but once she saw who was holding her it was over. Abby on the other hand had a death grip on Grandma Kath's shirt and didn't make it! Oh well, hopefully next year. We hope this finds everyone enjoying the Christmas season and looking forward to the New Year! From our family to yours...Merry Christmas!!! Love, The Molina's

~Santa Claus is coming to town...or not!~
Wow-37 shopping days until Christmas. I really can't believe this year is almost over! Shelby will have her first birthday before we know it. She turns 10 months next week (on Thanksgiving, actually) She is starting to take steps. We are up to 7 steps at once. She has 4 teeth now. She is such a happy baby and we feel so blessed! Abby told me yesterday that she didn't like Santa and didn't want any presents. This after I received the monogrammed stockings I had ordered in the mail yesterday. She asked me what they were for and when I told her Santa would put presents in them, she made the previous comment. I really hope she changes her mind though! We are waiting a little while longer to put up our tree because I know all eyes will have to be on Shelby ALL OF THE TIME! Here is a pic of our new decoration for the year. Thought he was pretty cute and Abby (and me) just had to have him!

~There's No Place Like...~
Well I have to say the Halloween weekend was amazing! The weather was fantastic and we had a wonderful time being able to spend it with cousin Mac. I even got AZ to don the scarecrow hat and gloves for a quick family pic before we started Trick or Treating! He was none to happy, but did it anyways! Here are a few pics of our costumes and Mac in his T-Rex costume!

Christmas in...October?
Well Grandma Kath and Grandpa Charlie went to KC this past weekend to spend a few days with cousin Mac and Nate and Caroline! I'm sure Mac enjoyed his time with them. They came through Hays on their way home and surprise, surprise they brought gifts! Abby received a Dr. Barbie with nursery and Shelby received a Pooh push/ride airplane. Mom said it was an early Christmas present because we told her she couldn't go overboard this year at Christmas. AZ has decided to make the following rule: any new toy that comes in, one goes out! I know this isn't going to happen. Thank goodness our carpet is laid in the new playroom downstairs!

~Fall Photos~
Wow! It's been almost a month since my last post. I really cannot believe it! We have had a busy month I guess. The girls are changing every day. They bring me so much joy and I can't imagine my life without them. Shelby is crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up on EVERYTHING! Abby is talking nonstop and trying to teach Shelby how to walk! We've had quite a few photo shoots lately, so I guess that is what I'm supposed to post. Enjoy!

Last weekend we headed to KC to see Abby and Shelby's birthfamilies. It was fun to see them again and watch Abby interact with everyone a little more. Shelby wasn't feeling well. She was teething and very sleepy. All she wanted was ME!!! That makes ya feel so good!!!

This weekend we headed to the Pumpkin patch with the girls to find the perfect pumpkin. Abby didn't want a big one, she just wanted a little one. But Shelby sure liked the big one!
